About Jessica

Jessica has spent her entire life studying, celebrating, and loving theatre.  Originally from Orange County, California, she studied Acting and Musical Theatre for 6 years at the Orange County School of the Arts (http://www.ocsarts.net), a charter school providing both academic and artistic training in Santa Ana, California.

Jessica is an alumna of Stanford University, where she studied as an undergraduate from 2011-2015.  She has a B.A. in Theatre and Performance Studies, a B.A. in French, and a minor in Creative Writing.  She spent her Senior year studying modern productions of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, which culminated in a Senior Capstone production of Hamlet, directed by San Francisco’s esteemed Rob Melrose, in which she played Ophelia. She is the recipient of the 2015 Eleanor Prosser Prize for Drama Scholarship.

Jessica has acted throughout Orange County and the Bay Area, as well as with the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, UK, and the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, Connecticut.

Jessica is passionate about Shakespearean theatre and education.  When she is not acting, she is a private academic tutor for students grades K-12, in subjects ranging from ACT and SAT test prep to writing composition, reading comprehension, and math.  She spends free time reading and writing, and she is fluent in French.

Jessica has recently relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area to New York City.
